Pairs Head
Fifteen TSS crews - plus four composites - raced in Saturday's Pairs Head from Chiswick to Hammersmith Bridge.
The IM1 double of Nick Marriott and Antony Smith followed up their Wallingford result with another win, and were the fastest TSS crew, finishing third overall in a time of 12:14, while the seventh-placed composite of Charlie Clarke and Pete Wells (Bryanston School) won the Senior doubles pennant.
Swiss internationals Nora Fiechter and Sara Hofmann (Seeclub Biel) won Women's Elite and were the fastest women's crew of the day, finishing 65th overall. Katy Smith and Lizzie Mann won Women's IM1 doubles, twenty-four seconds clear of the second-placed crew.
In pairs, Mike Hennessy and Alasdair Leighton-Crawford won the Elite pennant; Dickie Clarke and Frank Llewellyn took Vet D/E.
