Great Eight in America
The Great Eight, winners of the 2009 Head of the River Race, will come together again for the Head of the Charles in Boston.
The crew of Olaf Tufte, Ondrej Synek, Mahe Drysdale, Tim Maeyens, Alan Campbell, Lassi Karonen, Iztok Cop and Marcel Hacker will race in the Men's Championship Eights on Sunday 18th October.
They will also race on the first day of the regatta, as three TSS entries in Championship Doubles - Maeyens/Synek, Cop/Tufte and Campbell/Hacker - and two (Drysdale: West End RC; Karonen: Swedish Rowing Federation) in Championship Singles. On the Thursday before the regatta the crew will take part in an outreach programe at Community Rowing Inc.

Crew change: Olaf Tufte is unable to take part, so will be replaced by the American sculler Warren Anderson in both the eight and the double with Iztok Cop.
