The Junior Women won both of their quad events at Kingston Head on Saturday.
Racing in Division 1, the WJ16 crew of Amalia, Jessie, Emma and Izzy finished 1.8 seconds ahead of Sir William Perkins' School to take the pennant, while the WJ16 eight were third in their category and 69th in an overall field of 135. Then, in the second division, Orla, Izzy, India and Charley won WJ18.
Also racing in the first division - and its first race back after being severed in two - the 100 Club quad was given a second maiden voyage over the Kingston course to achieve second place in Masters E.
In the afternoon, the TSS/Tyne composite (Hugh Williams, Roger Swift, Jamie Priestley, Peter Watts, Antony Constantinidi, Tim Sanders, Dickie Clarke and David Sprague, coxed by Guy Greaves) won Masters F.
Meanwhile, infirmity having scythed through the ranks of the TGA faithful, the remaining functioning regulars raced with subs of impeccable variety and secured a solid third place in Masters E.
